Mariana Yasmin Claudino is a dedicated and skilled engineering professional currently serving as a Global Engineering Fellow and researcher at the Pan Lab within Penn State College of Engineering, focusing on the development of electrochemical biosensors for HIV DNA detection. In addition to research experience at Yang Lab, Mariana has contributed as an Engineering Ambassador and gained practical engineering experience as a Design Engineer at Bike do Nordeste S/A, where the design and testing of a BMX frame prototype were completed. Previous consultancy work at Lightbulb Junior Enterprise involved providing innovative solutions for businesses and assisting a local chocolate company in optimizing their supply chain. Mariana is pursuing dual Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at Penn State University.
