Jim Thomas began their career in 1986 as a Field Engineer and Test Engineer at Link Flight Simulation. In 1997, they moved on to work as a Systems Engineer at Applied Computer Technologies and as an Engineer at Strategic Resource Solutions. In 2000, Jim became the Vice President at Engineered Control Solutions, where they currently hold a position.

Jim Thomas attended Devry Institute of Technology from 1983 to 1986, where they studied Electronics Engineering and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree.
