LAGAB Lotfi is a seasoned professional in process safety and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Process Safety Hydrogen H2 (R&D) at ENGIE since August 2023. Prior to this role, LAGAB held positions as a Senior Process Safety Engineer at PTTEP, and Head of Department Safety & Loss Prevention at SARPI SPA, where responsibilities included managing safety and loss prevention initiatives. LAGAB has also worked as a Senior Process Safety Risk & Loss Prevention engineer and has extensive experience in various roles focused on process safety in both FEED and EPC projects, as well as project management in the construction and engineering sectors. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Energy and Environment from the Polytechnic University of Orléans and a Master in Engineering Law from Le Havre Normandy University, complemented by a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Energetique from the University of Boumerdes.
