Gerald Mwakamela is an experienced professional in the fields of internal control, risk management, and compliance, currently serving as the Acting Internal Control Manager at ENGIE Energy Access (Africa) since February 2021. Previously, Gerald held positions such as Risk, Ethics and Compliance Specialist in the Customer Finance Department and Internal Auditor at AB Bank Zambia Limited from October 2013 to August 2020, where also served as a Senior Relationship Officer. Earlier career experiences include a trainee auditor role at CMI and a Senior Recovery/Loan Officer position at CETZAM Financial Services Limited. Gerald holds a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance from the University of Lusaka, has studied Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination at West Virginia University, and earned a degree in Banking and Financial Services from ZCAS University.
