Alvaro Inostroza Saez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in asset management and maintenance within the energy sector. Currently serving as Sub. Gerente de Activos Central Termica Ciclo Combinado at ENGIE Chile since January 2011, Alvaro oversees the management of combined cycle plant assets at the Mejillones thermal complex, focusing on operational leadership, maintenance efficiency, and resource conservation. Prior roles include Jefe Mantenimiento Electrico at ENGIE Chile, where Alvaro managed maintenance activities to optimize the lifespan of generation assets, and Jefe de Turno at Barrick Gold Corporation, responsible for plant operations and electrical maintenance. Alvaro holds a degree in Civil Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Concepción, a Master’s in Labor Risk Prevention from Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya, and a Diploma in Asset Management and Maintenance from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa MarÃa.
