Gary Yates has extensive experience in power plant operations and management, currently serving as Owners Engineer Lead Mechanical and Deputy Site Manager at ENGIE South East Asia since August 2019, working on a new 850 MW combined cycle power project. Prior roles include serving as an Operation & Maintenance Consultant at Saudi Electricity Company for the Qurayyah 4500 MW combined cycle power plant, and various engineering and operational positions at companies such as EDF Energy, eng-tec, NTPC-ALSTOM Power Services, GE Energy, Edenderry Power Ltd, Fortum, dema, and CEGB - National Power. Gary Yates holds qualifications in power plant operations from Doncaster Technical College and the CEGB Training Center in Leeds, UK.
