Dr. Simon Braun is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in scientific affairs and product management. Currently serving as Team Lead Scientific Affairs and Senior Scientific Affairs Manager at Engelhard since October 2022, Dr. Braun previously held the position of Wissenschaftlicher Produktmanager at InfectoPharm Arzneimittel und Consilium GmbH from October 2018 to September 2022. Dr. Braun began their career at the Institute of Molecular Biology (IMB) as a PhD student from November 2013 to September 2018, contributing to the development of a high-throughput screen for quantifying mutation effects on alternative splicing. Prior to this, Dr. Braun gained valuable experience as a Master's student at Merck Millipore, evaluating chromatography adsorbents, and as an intern, purifying biomolecules with magnetic particles. Dr. Braun holds a Master's degree in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, both from Goethe University Frankfurt.
