Janet Helmcamp is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in various roles within the Cleburne Independent School District and other educational institutions. Currently serving as a Certified eGrowe Coach at engage2learn since August 2021, Janet previously held the position of Director of Assessment and GT at Cleburne ISD from August 2014 to August 2021. Prior to that, Janet was an Assistant Principal and Education Program Coordinator at Lowell Smith Middle School, also within Cleburne ISD. Janet's career in education began in 1990 as an elementary school teacher, progressing through positions such as GT Teacher and Assistant Principal at several schools. Janet's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Education from Emporia State University.
