Steve Salamon

Process Engineer at Enevate

Steve Salamon has worked in the engineering and manufacturing industries for over 25 years. Steve began their career in 1994 as an Equipment Manager, Mechanic, and Machinist at Ro-Lab American Rubber. In 1995, they moved to PolyStor Corporation as a Tech IV. In 1999, they joined Gold Peak Industries as a Coating Tech IV and Compliance Officer, where they operated and upgraded Hi-tech slot die Coating equipment and built and ran UL certified testing labs. In 2006, they became a Prototype/Test Engineer at PowerGenix. In 2011, they joined Xalt Energy (previously Dow Kokam) as a Process Specialist, where they developed new processes and process monitoring tools to increase quality and reduce cost. In 2014, they joined Enevate Corporation as a Process Engineer, where they were responsible for meeting corporate expectations for creating, building, and testing advanced silicon li-polymer battery designs, solving critical design issues regarding cell coatings and assembly processes, and preparing new ISO 9000 processes to improve product and manufacturing quality standards. Steve also held a private Prototyping and Engineering role in 2009.

Steve Salamon attended Ohlone College, where they studied Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography.
