Amjad Bashir is a skilled engineer with significant experience in energy storage and power systems. Currently serving as a PV - Battery (BESS) Hybrid Engineer at Enerwhere since July 2020, Amjad has successfully installed and commissioned large-scale energy storage projects in the UAE. Prior to this role, Amjad was an Energy Storage Commissioning Engineer at Enerwhere from December 2016 to February 2020, leading a team in the implementation of an off-grid powered crushing plant in Fujairah and overseeing the installation of diesel generators. Additionally, Amjad has a background as a Field Service Engineer focusing on solar-diesel systems and has expertise in the installation and troubleshooting of various power generation equipment. Earlier in the career, Amjad gained experience as an Aviation Component Specialist at AMMROC, where responsibilities included servicing and testing avionics equipment. Amjad holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Preston University and a Diploma of Associate Engineer in Instrument Technology from Govt Polytechnic College.
