Miguel Maricalva is a Data Engineer with a strong background in data science and engineering, currently working at enersis since June 2023. Prior roles include Data Engineer at Cloudrizon GmbH from July 2022 to May 2023, and Junior Data Engineer at Altostratus Cloud Consulting from October 2021 to June 2022. Miguel's experience includes a Data Research Internship at RISE SICS, focusing on sarcasm detection using multimodal approaches that integrate natural language processing, speech recognition, and image classification. Additionally, during a Data Science Internship at Logical Clocks, Miguel designed and implemented a machine learning workflow for video data classification. Miguel holds a Master's degree in Data Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Politecnico di Milano, alongside an MSc Double Degree from EIT Digital. An undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Computer Science was earned from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, complemented by an exchange year at Czech Technical University in Prague.
