Jonathan Thomas has a diverse work experience. Jonathan began their career as a court runner at Floyd, Taylor and Riley, LLP in 1989. Jonathan then worked at BakerBotts as a records management specialist and later as a litigation paralegal. In 2001, they became a commercial real estate agent at Moody Rambin Interests. Jonathan then worked as a senior litigation paralegal at Fulbright Jaworski before joining Key Energy Services as a litigation support and RIM program manager. At Key Energy Services, they also served as a senior projects manager. Jonathan then worked at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation as a staff legal technology analyst. Currently, they are working at Energy Transfer as a lead specialist in information technology, specifically in File Net.

Jonathan Thomas attended the University of Houston, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Social Science.
