Katherine Itchue is a Value Stream Manager at Energy Steel since August 2021, overseeing project costs and schedules while managing a diverse team that includes an engineer, QA specialist, estimator, and buyer/planner. Prior roles include Project Engineer and Buyer/Planner at Energy Steel, where Katherine created project work instructions and interfaced with vendors, and an earlier position as a Materials Engineer I at General Dynamics Electric Boat focused on welding metallurgical research. Katherine has also held internships at Pratt & Whitney, Oshkosh Corporation, and ArcelorMittal USA, alongside coaching first-year engineering students at Michigan Technological University. Katherine holds a degree in Materials Science Engineering with a focus in Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
