Matthew Wright has over 30 years of work experience in various sales and marketing roles. Matthew started off their career at Unilever - Lever, where they held positions such as International Marketing Director, Business Development Director, and International Business Manager. During their time there, they successfully grew the share, turnover, and profitability in the Fabric Washing sector. Matthew also developed a 5-year Strategic Plan as a secondment to the CEO and set up a sales and marketing operation in Korea.

Following their time at Unilever, Matthew worked at Pitney Bowes as the European Marketing Director, where they were responsible for strategic and tactical marketing across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Matthew implemented a European marketing structure and increased the rollout of new products while streamlining the product range.

Afterwards, Matthew joined Arjo Wiggins Appleton as the Sales Director, where they achieved profits for the first time in 8 years through pricing strategies. Matthew also introduced key account management to enhance sales.

Matthew then held various sales and marketing positions in different companies in the UK and Europe. During this time, they reviewed the European product sector, rationalized the product range, and simplified the customer offer. Matthew also implemented key account management to reverse sales decline.

Lastly, Matthew worked at the Energy Saving Trust as the Marketing and Customer Insight Director, where they led a team of 51 personnel. Matthew implemented a new marketing structure to drive insight, produced a 3-year Marketing Strategy to increase consumer awareness, and significantly grew direct and digital marketing channels.
