Makenzie D'Elia is a System Engineer at Energy Northwest, specializing in Balance of Plant systems at Columbia Generating Station since June 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where computational models for energy applications were developed, and working as a Peer-Led Team Learning Leader, facilitating weekly recitations in dynamics, statics, and thermodynamics. Internships at FirstEnergy involved supporting engineering programs and the Nuclear Steam Supply System at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station. Additionally, experience as a Tutor and Mentor at Indy Learning Center provided guidance to primary and secondary education students.
