Thomas Tombs has extensive work experience in the technology and materials industry. Thomas most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer at Energy Materials Corporation starting in March 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Eastman Kodak Company for a total of 16 years, holding various leadership roles. From 2006 to 2014, they were the Program Director, where they managed cross-functional teams and oversaw the development and commercialization of multiple products. Thomas'sresponsibilities included market analysis, product architecture, resource planning, and budget management. Before that, they worked at NexPress Solutions LLC as a Technology Development Manager & Chief Engineer from 1998 to 2006. At the start of their career, they worked at Eastman Kodak Company as an Associate Scientist & Electrostatic Charging Manager from 1992 to 1998.

Thomas Tombs has pursued education in electrical and electronics engineering at the University of Rochester. Thomas holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree, a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, and a Master of Science (MS) degree from the University.
