Jim Beltis has extensive work experience in various financial roles. Jim currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Energy Materials Corporation. Prior to this, they were a Partner and Co-Founder at Torrent Partners Health Innovations. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at Case Medical, Inc. in multiple roles including Owner/Investor, CFO, and VP of Business Development. In this position, they were responsible for corporate development, investment strategy, M&A, and financial management. Before that, Jim worked at JPMorgan from 2004 to 2014, where they held positions such as Executive Director and Vice President in the Global Commodities and Principal Investment Group. Jim was involved in large-scale energy infrastructure acquisitions and commodity trades, as well as project bond financing. Prior to that, they served as Principal at Katalyst Venture Partners, where they directed a venture capital fund and led business development efforts. Jim started their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Legg Mason and also had a role as a Lacrosse Coach at Boston College High School.
Jim Beltis completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from the Boston College Carroll School of Management, which they attended from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management and Finance from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, studying there from 2002 to 2004.
