Vishal Kapoor currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Energy Efficiency Services Limited and Convergence Energy Services Limited. Previously, Vishal held the position of Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Power, Government of India, where leadership was provided for various government initiatives and reforms in the distribution sector, as well as cyber security and IT initiatives in the power sector. Vishal's experience also includes serving as Director at the Ministry of Power, overseeing distribution utility reforms and flagship schemes, and contributing to the Ministry of Railways in various engineering roles, leading significant projects and initiatives. Educational qualifications include an AMPPP in Public Policy from the Indian School of Business and dual Master's degrees in Public Administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, along with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from IRIMEE Jamalpur.
