Ricardo Salgado is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in the advertising industry. Currently serving as SVP Creative Director and Head of Activation at Energy BBDO since March 2021, Ricardo has also held roles as VP Creative Director and Creative Director within the same company. Prior to Energy BBDO, Ricardo worked at FCB Chicago as Associate Creative Director and Senior Copywriter from October 2018 to March 2021. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Copywriter at Leo Burnett, and a long tenure at DM9DDB as Senior Copywriter. Early career roles include copywriting at E* - Inteligência Criativa and Zero11 Propaganda. Ricardo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Marketing from Faculdade Cásper Líbero, completed in 2009.
