Davide Bufalini is a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Energy Aspects, responsible for developing options analytics, research, and option pricing models since September 2023. Previously, Davide was a Researcher PhD Student at the University of Southampton from October 2019 to September 2023, focusing on advanced topics in string theory and black holes while acquiring skills in derivatives, stochastic calculus, and machine learning. Additionally, Davide served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, instructing various mathematics modules at the university, and worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Davide holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Southampton, a Master’s degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics, all complemented by a diploma from an Italian scientific institute.
