Jes Søndergaard has a diverse work experience. They started at University of Aarhus in 2007 as a teacher. In 2007, they also joined Martin Professional A/S as a Trainee Business Development Engineer, where they worked for two years on technology specializations and change management. They then moved to Aarhus University in 2010 as a Scientific Assistant for a few months before joining Energinet, where they held various roles. They served as a Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and eventually became the Head of Asset Optimization and Head of Asset Maintenance. Their responsibilities included integrating acquired assets into Energinet's control system, managing maintenance projects, developing optimization strategies, and overseeing team activities. They also focused on economic analysis, reinvestment, sourcing, and system strategies.
Jes Søndergaard obtained an MSc in Technology-based Business Development from Aarhus University between the years 2004 and 2009.
