Vahak Hezaran has extensive experience in internal audit and management, currently serving as Director of Internal Audit International at Valero Energy Inc. since February 2004, overseeing audit activities across Canadian, European, and Latin American operations. Prior roles include Manager of Internal Audit, Loss Prevention, and Security at Ultramar Ltd, where Vahak managed a substantial team and executed complex audits, and previous positions as Senior Internal Auditor and Manager of Internal Audit with a focus on improving processes and compliance. Vahak began the professional career as an External Auditor at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton. Academic credentials include a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, both from McGill University.
