Roland M. is a PhD candidate at the Centre for International Business at the University of Leeds and has been serving as a Postgraduate Researcher at Leeds University Business School since October 2020. In addition to research, Roland holds the position of Independent Governor at Leeds Trinity University, contributing to a board focused on social justice and professional work placements. As a member of the Finance subcommittee at Leeds University Union, Roland continues to support the student body. Previous roles include serving as Events Officer for Yorkshire Universities, where a network for inclusive academic policy engagement was developed, and as a Trustee for Leeds University Union, providing oversight as an Independent Student Trustee. Roland co-founded InLeeds!, an initiative to enhance talent retention in the region, and has experience in business development and community service management in the social care sector. Educational qualifications include a PhD in International Business, multiple master's degrees, and an honors bachelor's degree from the University of Leeds.
