Cian Deery is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Energia Group, with responsibility for supporting project delivery and contract management, particularly in relation to contestable grid infrastructure. Previously, Cian worked at ESB International for over five years in various roles, including Senior Electrical Engineer/Design Project Manager and Electrical Engineer/Design Project Manager, focusing on the design and coordination of high voltage projects for ESB Networks and EirGrid. Cian's early experience includes a position as a General Factory Worker at Greenfield Foods Ltd and an engineering internship at Roadstone Ltd. Cian holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Galway, as well as a high school diploma from St. Macartan's College, Monaghan.
