Alma Smith has had a diverse range of experience in the marketing field. Alma started their career as a Marketing Assistant at Spillman Technologies in 2006. Alma then worked as a Category Manager at iboats.com and later as a Marketing Manager at CR England. In these roles, they managed marketing activities, implemented SEO and PPC strategies, and utilized social media for lead generation.
In 2010, Alma joined Tech Media Network as an Internet Marketer and eventually became the SEM Manager. Alma managed all paid traffic and developed search engine marketing strategies across multiple business units. Alma also oversaw the growth of the SEM department and trained new staff members on PPC best practices.
Afterward, Alma worked at Alliance Health, LLC as a Marketing Manager, where they successfully scaled lead volume by over 300% through strategic partnerships and vendor collaboration. Alma then served as the SEO Manager, driving significant organic traffic growth and leading the development of the Periodic Table of Diabetes Management. As the SEM Manager, Alma executed a successful restructure of accounts and further optimized campaigns, resulting in improved CPA and lead volume.
In 2017, Alma became the Director of Digital Marketing at NUVI, where they oversaw digital marketing efforts. Most recently, they joined EnerBank USA as the AVP, Director of Demand Generation.
Alma Smith obtained a MBA in Marketing from the University of Utah from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business between 2004 and 2006. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Developing Adaptability as a Manager from LinkedIn in May 2022.
