Giovanni Valvo has extensive experience in the energy and smart grid sectors, currently serving as the Head of the Flexibility team at Gridspertise since April 2022. Concurrently, Giovanni Valvo has been a Quality Assurance Manager and Platform Manager for the ADMS and Power Quality system at Enel since June 2018, responsible for quality and integration of systems used for medium voltage network control, including SCADA and electrical calculation systems. Prior to this, Giovanni Valvo worked at E-Distribuzione from 2012 to 2018, progressing from a Smart Grid Engineer to a Senior Smart Grid Engineer, focusing on ADMS developments and support for smart grid projects. Giovanni Valvo's career began as an Internship Trainee at E-Distribuzione, concentrating on real-time network simulators and advanced voltage regulation techniques. Giovanni Valvo holds a Laurea Specialistica in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Università degli studi di Catania, earned between 2006 and 2012.
