Rene Rebane has a diverse work experience in the field of UX/UI design, game design, and teaching. Rene currently holds the position of Head of UX at ENEFIT since 2024. Prior to this, they worked as a Game Design Lecturer at the Estonian Academy of Arts from 2019 onwards. Rene also has experience as a Games Designer, UX/UI Designer & Lead at Superb from 2021 to 2023. Rene served as a Senior UX architect & Team Lead at Trinidad Wiseman from 2010 to 2021. In addition, Rene was a Co-founder & Lead at Rikai Games, a small game design and development studio, from 2013 to 2019. Rene has also worked as a Game Design Lecturer at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences / EEK Mainor in 2016, and as an Interaction Design Lector at the University of Tartu in 2013. Rene's work experience also includes co-founding MTü Hobilabor in 2010 and working as a Web design lector at the Estonian Academy of Arts from 2010 to 2011.

Rene Rebane holds a Master's degree in Design and Development of Virtual Environments, which they obtained from the University of Tartu between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed their BA in Graphic Design at the Estonian Academy of Arts from 2007 to 2010. Rene also has a background in Software Development, ICT Management, and Administration from their studies at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences / EEK Mainor between 2005 and 2007.
