Andres Vainola has a strong background in executive leadership and strategic business development. Andres began their career as the Chief Executive Officer at Elron | Eesti Liinirongid in 2004 and served in this role until 2014. Andres then joined Empower group, first as the CEO from 2000 to 2007, and later as a Member of the group executive team and Head of Baltic Division from 2007 to 2014. In 2014, Vainola began working at Eesti Energia, where they served as an Executive Board Member until 2017, and then as the Strategic Business Development and M&A Director until 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at ENEFIT, starting in April 2019.

Andres Vainola obtained a Master's Degree in Economics and Automation from TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology, from 1987 to 1992. Andres later pursued an Executive MBA at the Estonian Business School, completing it from 2019 to 2021.
