Peter Rugbjerg serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Enduro since July 2017, where leadership focuses on enhancing the scientific organization and delivering improvements for clients. As a co-founder and former CEO of Enduro, Peter played a key role in establishing the company as a spin-out from DTU, emphasizing high-performance large-scale bioproduction. Concurrently, Peter engages in academia as a guest lecturer and researcher at Chalmers University of Technology since January 2020. Previous experience includes postdoctoral work at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability, and visiting research at the University of California, San Diego. Peter's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from DTU, complemented by a Master’s and Bachelor’s in the same field from DTU. Peter has also contributed to biotech education and outreach through various roles promoting modern genetic engineering and biosynthesis.
