Omar Ragab is an experienced film and digital media professional with a diverse background in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as a First Assistant Camera at Netflix and a Camera Assistant at Endemol Shine North America, Omar also holds positions as an Assistant Director’s Assistant at multiple companies, including Fox Networks Group, MJZ, and SMUGGLER. In addition, Omar is a Freelance Director and Co-Founder & CEO of Gudawg Productions. With a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Digital Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an Associate of Arts from Orange Coast College, Omar has demonstrated expertise in camera operations and theatre management, as well as educational support within a film department.
