Shawn Myers currently serves as Vice President of Pharmacy and Ancillary Clinical Services at Encompass Health since January 2016, following a career at Parallon/HCA from April 2000 to September 2015 where Shawn held multiple roles including National Director of Pharmacy Operations and Division Pharmacy Director. In the latter position, Shawn managed pharmacy departments across 16 acute care hospitals and implemented a statewide virtual pharmacist order review and verification service, while also focusing on achieving performance goals in financial, clinical, operational, and regulatory areas. In earlier roles, Shawn effectively managed pharmacy departments in acute care facilities, emphasizing the establishment of decentralized clinical programs and fostering relationships with nursing staff during transitional periods. Shawn holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and an M.B.A. from the University of Georgia.
