Vidya Bharadwaj is a dedicated software engineer currently serving as a Software Engineer Intern at Honeywell since May 2024 and previously as a Software Engineer Intern at John Deere from May 2023 to August 2023. As Engineering Manager at the Disruption Lab at Gies, Vidya oversees multiple projects, ensures lab performance, and is currently managing the Gies MetaVerse Project as Project Manager. In addition, Vidya is involved with GirlCon as Senior Vice President, where efforts focus on bridging the gender gap in STEM. Community engagement through roles as Co-Director of Education at Encode Justice and various leadership positions in campus organizations showcase a strong commitment to education and advocacy in technology. Vidya is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, expected to graduate in May 2026.
