Bill Elmer started their career in 1978 as a Production Engineer at Sun Exploration and Production Company. Bill then worked as a Facility Engineer at ConocoPhillips from 1991 to 1997. Following that, they joined EOG Resources as an Engineering Advisor from 1997 to 2011. In 2011, they started working as a Consulting Engineer at Efficient Oilfield Engineering, where they provided part-time facility and production engineering services for friends and charities. Since 2015, they have been serving as the Vice President of Engineering at ENCLINE Artificial Lift Technologies, where they focus on creating new artificial lift technology products to address challenges in horizontal wellbores.
Bill Elmer attended Texas A&M University, where they studied Chemical Engineering from 1974 to 1978. Bill obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in the field.
