Michael Truong is an experienced environmental compliance inspector currently employed at Encina Wastewater Authority since May 2021. Prior to this role, Michael served as a laboratory technician for the City of Oceanside from January 2019 to May 2021 and worked as an analytical chemist at ENVIROMATRIX ANALYTICAL, INC. from July 2016 to January 2019. Michael began a career in research as an undergraduate researcher at UC Santa Barbara from January 2015 to January 2016, focusing on petrochronology and data analysis. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Earth Science with an emphasis in Geohydrology from UC Santa Barbara (2012-2016) and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Engineering at the University of California, Riverside from March 2022 to August 2024.
