Eugene S.

Information Governance Practice Lead at enChoice

Eugene S. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Eugene began their career at Image Architects as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on projects related to document imaging and digital photo processing. Eugene then moved on to the Orthodox Union as the Director of Software Development before joining Scrittura as a Senior Software Engineer.

In 2003, Eugene co-founded Oceansuit Information Systems, where they served as the Director and played a pivotal role in high-profile projects focusing on Enterprise Content Management (ECM). Oceansuit Information Systems was later acquired by Lighthouse Computer Services, where Eugene continued as a Senior Solution Architect.

At Lighthouse Computer Services, Eugene's expertise and experience in ECM led him to become a key member of the team, specializing in Records and Information Management. During their tenure, they designed and implemented enterprise solutions as a Senior Solution Architect.

Eugene then took on various leadership positions at the ARMA Metro NYC Chapter, starting as the Vice-President of Professional Development. Eugene later served as the Vice-President of Collaboration, Vice-President of Information Technology, Executive Vice President, and eventually became the President of the chapter. After their tenure as President, they held the position of Immediate Past President.

Most recently, Eugene joined enChoice® Inc. as the Information Governance Solution Architect, where they provide senior-level services delivery, support, and pre-sales for their ECM solutions. Eugene is a subject matter expert on taxonomy and metadata and focuses on designing and implementing enterprise solutions across the spectrum of information governance.

Eugene S. attended NYU Stern School of Business from 1990 to 1995 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing. Alongside their degree, they have also obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include:

1. IBM Champion 2022 (obtained in January 2022 from IBM)

2. IBM Robotic Process Automation - Basic (obtained in May 2021 from IBM)

3. Certified Information Professional (CIP) (obtained in May 2020 from AIIM International)

4. Digital Business Automation Sales Foundations (obtained in November 2019 from IBM)

5. IBM FileNet P8 Platform V5.5.x - Administration (obtained in November 2019 from IBM)

6. IBM Certified Administrator - Cognos TM1 10.1 (obtained in July 2016 from IBM)

7. IBM Certified Specialist - Cognos TM1 10.1 Data Analysis (obtained in June 2016 from IBM)

8. IBM StoredIQ Technical Professional v1 (obtained in February 2015 from IBM)

9. Certified Records Manager (obtained in January 2009 from ICRM - Institute of Certified Records Managers)

10. Certified Document Imaging Architect (obtained in March 1999 from CompTIA)

Additionally, Eugene has scheduled to obtain two more certifications in May 2023: Cloud Pak for Business Automation Sales Foundation V2 and Cloud Pak for Business Automation Technical Sales Intermediate. Eugene is also recognized as an IBM Champion in both 2022 and 2023.
