Stephen Moritz has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector. Stephen began their career in 1994 as Vice President of Marketing at Strategic Energy. In 2005, they moved to Cadence Network, where they served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing and drove organic growth, achieving over 200% top line growth in under three years and successfully positioning the company for favorable acquisition. In 2008, they joined The Plan Consulting Group as Practice Leader of the Utility Optimization and Sustainability Practice, where they were responsible for developing and managing programs that reduce energy costs and carbon footprint. In 2009, they founded and became CEO of Encentiv Energy, a technology company specializing in energy efficiency technology options with available incentives and financing based on the customer's specific location.
Stephen Moritz obtained their JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law between 1991 and 1994. Prior to that, they received a BS in Marketing from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business between 1982 and 1986.
