Gerrit Kaufhold has a long and varied career in finance. Gerrit began in 1998 as a Senior at Arthur Andersen. In 2000, they became a Manager at both Esche Schuemann Commichau and ESC Wirtschaftsprüfung GmbH, Hamburg. In 2005, they became a Partner at DSP Dr. Schmitz und Partner mbB Steuerberater Wirtschaftsprüfer and a Gesellschafter at HRG Hansische-Revisionsgesellschaft mbh Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft. In 2011, they became a Member of the Supervisory Board at Kinghero AG and in 2012 they became the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at ZhongDe Waste Technology AG. In 2017, they became a Member of the Supervisory Board at Altech Advanced Materials AG and in 2021 they became the CFO at Enapter.

Gerrit Kaufhold obtained a Master in Business Administration from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg between 1992 and 1997. Gerrit also completed a Bankkaufmann program at Deutsche Bank AG between 1990 and 1992. In 1994, they attended Swansea University to study Business, Management, Marketing and related support services. In 2002, they completed a Steuerberater program at Steuerberaterkammer, and in 2004, they obtained a Wirtschaftsprüfer certification from Wirtschaftsprüferkammer.
