Eugene Vortsman serves as the Director of Education at the Association of Cannabinoid Specialists, focusing on enhancing best practice education for medical cannabis management. Concurrently, Vortsman holds the position of Clinical Director of Addiction Medicine and Disease Management at Northwell Health, where efforts to improve patient care and identify high-risk patients for addiction take precedence. Additionally, Vortsman coordinates pain treatment as Co-Chair of the Pain Committee for LIJ. As a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Enalare Therapeutics Inc. and a Clinical Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine at Hofstra University, Vortsman educates medical students on clinical procedures and supports their research endeavors. Vortsman began a career in emergency medicine at NYP and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Brandeis University.
