Brian Zimmer is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, project leadership, and product development within the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Sr. Principal R&D Engineer at enableCV since September 2023, Brian previously held the position of Project Leader at BD, where leadership in cross-functional teams led to the development and launch of vascular access products. Brian also contributed as a Senior Scientist at CR Bard, managing project health and design milestones for vascular access products. Experience at Edwards Lifesciences involved managing teams focused on aortic balloon enhancements, while roles at Hologic included program management for innovative biopsy devices. Prior engineering positions at Suros Surgical Systems and Lund International further solidified expertise in product development, design, and engineering processes. Brian holds a BS in Engineering Graphics Technology from Purdue University.
