Kelly Barmer has worked in various roles since 2002. Kelly began their career as a Medical Social Worker at NHC HomeCare Greenwood. In 2003, they moved to Cornerstone Health Systems as a Sales Associate. Kelly then joined Lakeshore Estates, Inc. in 2005 as Director of Marketing and Development. In 2006, they became Assistant to the President / Director of Marketing at Lakeshore Estates. In 2008, they were promoted to Vice President of Operations at Lakeshore Estates, Inc. In 2010, they moved to Alive Hospice as an Outreach Liaison. In 2015, they joined SunCrest Healthcare as an Account Manager. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Client Relationship Manager at Enable Resource Group.

Kelly Barmer completed their Bachelor in Social Work at East Tennessee State University from 1996 to 1999. Kelly then earned their Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville between 2000 and 2002.
