Gabrielle Fortes is a Product Development Engineer II at Emulate, Inc., with experience in consumables since June 2022. Prior to this role, Gabrielle served as a Graduate Researcher at Tulane University, focusing on tissue engineering and microphysiological systems while developing a vascularized multi-organ-on-a-chip model for a Master’s thesis. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Gabrielle mentored over 50 undergraduate students in electric circuits. Additional experience includes leading a team to design and prototype patient transfer solutions, serving as a Server/Team Leader in a restaurant environment, and conducting cancer research using High Intensity Focused Ultrasound and cell culturing techniques. Gabrielle holds a Master’s of Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Tulane University.
