Roland Lau serves as the General Counsel for EmpRes Healthcare Management, LLC since January 2020, overseeing legal operations involving contracts, litigation, and daily healthcare management legalities, as well as managing mergers and acquisitions. Previous roles include Associate General Counsel, Corporate Counsel at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP, and Associate Attorney positions involving complex civil litigation and employment law. Legal experience includes work with the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office, as a legal intern at the Port of Portland and KPMG LLP, and extern roles at the Oregon Supreme Court and Lewis and Clark Law School's Low Income Taxpayers Clinic. Roland Lau holds a Juris Doctor from Lewis and Clark Law School, a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Washington State University, and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration with honors from Clark College.
