Sara Townsend, DPT has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Sara started their career as a Personal Trainer at Dynamic Fitness Management in 2009 and worked there until 2014. Afterwards, in 2014, they joined ApexNetwork Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist and stayed with the company until 2015. Sara then moved to Associated Physicians Group (APG) where they worked as a Physical Therapist from 2015 to 2017. Following that, Sara joined Synergy Healthcare Solutions, LLC in 2017 as a Doctor of Physical Therapy until 2020. Currently, they hold the role of Lead Physical Therapist and Area Director of Operations at EmpowerMe Wellness starting from April 2020.

Sara Townsend, DPT, completed their education at Maryville University of Saint Louis. Sara obtained a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013, specializing in Physical Therapy/Therapist. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from the same university in 2009. Sara also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science from the University of Kentucky, earned between 2006 and 2008.
