Dayna Young has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. In 2018, they interned at Suffolk County DPW. In 2019, they worked as a Student Intern at the National Audubon Society and later became an Office Administrative Assistant at ALRO Machine Company. In 2021, they joined AmeriCorps VISTA as an Environmental Justice and Climate Corps Fellow, where they were involved in research, partnership development, and outreach activities. Dayna also worked as a Solar Consultant at American Solar Partners. Currently, they are an Operations Associate at Empowered Buildings.

Dayna Young attended Union College from 2016 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree. Dayna'smajor was Environmental Policy, and they minored in Economics.
