Jose Brocero is a Senior Actuarial Specialist at Empower, having started in April 2022 after previously serving as an Actuarial Specialist at Prudential Financial from June 2015 to April 2022. Prior experience includes an internship as an Actuarial Intern at The Hartford in 2014 and a role as a Cashier at Union Street Market in 2013, where responsibilities included customer service and money handling. Additionally, Jose worked as a Mathematics Teaching Assistant for the CT Pre-Engineering Program in the summer of 2013, assisting high school students in mathematics education. Jose holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Connecticut, earned between 2011 and 2015.
