Ruben Munoz is an experienced program manager currently leading a team at Employment & Employer Services since October 2019, overseeing recruitment and planning for the Golden Diners and Summer Food Programs. Prior to this, Ruben held various roles at Outreach Community Ministries from December 2012 to August 2019, including Administrative Program Coordinator for the Employment Opportunity Center, where responsibilities included managing operations, training staff, and overseeing significant grant funding. Additionally, Ruben worked as a Job Coach/Teacher and Prevention Education Specialist, focusing on job readiness and youth mentorship. Earlier career experience includes serving as Unit Director at the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin, where program execution and staff management were central to the role. Ruben holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University, earned between 1994 and 2000.
