Gianmarco Ascenzo has work experience as a Software engineer at Rebernig Supervisioni from May 2013 to August 2015, and then again from September 2015 to May 2016. Gianmarco also worked at Empirix as a Software Engineer from June 2016 to present, with a role as a Kubernetes Team Lead & Software Developer starting from April 2020. Currently, Gianmarco is a Platform Architect at Infovista since October 2023.

Gianmarco Ascenzo completed their Bachelor's degree in Informatics with a focus on Computer Science and Information Technology at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from 2010 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Liceo Scientifico from 2004 to 2009, with a concentration in the national computer plan. Additionally, Gianmarco has obtained several certifications including the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from The Linux Foundation in December 2021, the GCP Developer Enablement Program from Codemotion in December 2019, and the Docker and Kubernetes certification from VEGA TRAINING in October 2019.
