Ethan Summers serves as Chief of Staff at Empirix Partners since October 2023, contributing to the creation of mission-critical supply chain programs. As Managing Partner at Southpaw OpEx, a position held since March 2021, Ethan assists business leaders in achieving their visions through self-sustaining systems. Complementing these roles, Ethan is an Adjunct Instructor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, beginning January 2022, where practical entrepreneurial applications are taught through various projects. Formerly, Ethan held positions as CEO at Extelli and Fledging, Director of Commercial Operations at UAB Medicine, and various sourcing and analyst roles at Georgia-Pacific LLC and the University of Alabama Office for Technology Transfer. An academic background includes an M.B.A. in Strategic Management and Marketing and a Graduate Certificate in Technology Commercialization and Entrepreneurship.
