Dan Venhuizen is an experienced professional in engineering and automation, currently serving as an Account Manager at Empire since March 2023. Previously, Dan held various roles at JR Automation from December 2015 to March 2023, including Lead Controls Engineer and Controls Engineer, where responsibilities included customized PLC programming, HMI design, and electrical schematic design. Additionally, Dan has experience as a Machine Builder, focusing on automated machine construction and robotic integration, along with on-site customer support. Earlier roles included positions as a Machinist at Gipson Welding & Manufacturing and Foreman at Cutter Lawn & Snow. Dan earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Grand Rapids Community College between 2012 and 2016.
