Matthew Maysonet has a diverse range of experience in the music and entertainment industry. Matthew most recently served as the Head of Digital Commerce & Streaming Marketing at EMPIRE, where they were responsible for digital marketing strategies and partnerships. Prior to that, they worked at Kobalt Music as the Director of Digital Sales & Account Management, overseeing digital sales and managing key accounts. Matthew also held the position of Director of Commercial Partnerships (Global) at Universal Music Group, where they developed and managed partnerships with global commercial partners. Earlier in their career, they were the Head of Music & Entertainment Partnerships at YouNow, leading the onboarding and programming efforts for entertainment partnerships. Matthew also worked at NUE Agency as the Director of Business Development & Growth Strategy, focusing on building brand partnerships and producing successful events. At Viacom, Matthew educated brands on the benefits of integrating mobile elements into their campaigns and facilitated content distribution. Matthew also worked at Atlantic Records and Elektra Records in various roles related to digital media, licensing, and contract administration.
Matthew Maysonet attended Baruch College from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a concentration in Marketing. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification in Real-time Advertising Fundamentals from Quantcast in June 2017.
